The Georgetown Journal of Law & Modern Critical Race Perspectives (MCRP) will be hosting our Symposium in the spring. We are accepting submissions that analyze race in light of the policies of the Trump Administration. We wanted to reach out to individuals that would be interested in publishing articles and notes in our Symposium Edition of the journal. This is not only an exciting opportunity for publication in our print edition, but would also allow the author the opportunity to share their work in-person at the Symposium.
We encourage those from all perspectives to submit pieces, and the papers can range in content and subject matter—immigration, employment, criminal justice, finance/tax, or globalization, just to name a few. Articles and notes that include historical analysis to draw modern comparisons are also welcome. We look forward to reading your submissions! Please email Jennifer Safstrom at jms582@georgetown.edu with your submissions or questions.
MCRP is one of Georgetown’s newest law journals and one of
the few law journals in the country dedicated to legal scholarship on race and
identity. The Journal exists to provide both a forum for scholarship by
academics, students and practitioners who are committed to racial justice and
to provide a rigorous editorial experience for students who have the same goal.
